Inspire Risk Management Limited is an independent Insurance Broking and Risk Management Company specialising in the design and placement of Insurance programmes for Commercial, Corporate and Private clients. Our aim is to work in partnership with each of our clients to deliver a first class service utilising the expertise of our highly experienced team. We focus not only on premium levels but on the security and performance of each individual Insurer we work with.
We are independent Insurance Brokers and our client’s needs and requirements are at the forefront of everything we do. We place our client’s Insurance risk programmes with Insurers for the benefit of our clients and our remuneration comes second to this. As an independent broker we are proud to work in a totally transparent way and this can be clearly demonstrated in all of your dealings with us.

We are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority and we are members of the British Insurance Brokers Association
So who are we? Inspire was founded by the working Directors in 2007 when the general insurance industry was going through an immense amount of consolidation which is still continuing today.
The method behind our madness was to create a different type of insurance broker. We do not operate from call centres, we do not outsource our claims service, and we prefer to deal directly with each of our clients face to face.
Neil Reid and Eric Taylor previously held Senior Management positions within a large consolidating insurance brokers and following a share sale process decided the time was right to refocus on good old fashioned customer service.
Neil and Eric with a combined experience of over 50 years gained from multi - national and global insurance brokers have formed a truly independent insurance broking firm focussed on delivering a first class personal service.
In July 2010 we welcomed the clients and Staff of Wood and Craven Limited based in Lytham, Lancashire. Wood and Craven was a natural fit for our business as we share the same client service beliefs, we treat each of our clients as we would wish to be treated ourselves.
We will:
- Ensure we have appropriate knowledge and understanding of our customers’ insurance needs and requirements.
- Provide our customers with appropriate, professional advice concerning their insurance needs and requirements.
- Provide insurance recommendations, solutions and products which will be:
- driven by what is in the client's best interests
- underwritten by authorised insurers with a credit rating approved by our internal security committee.
- Ensure customers have all the information they require in order that they:
- can make an informed buying decision in relation to our insurance proposals
- can understand what they are covered for and what they are not covered for
- are provided with the detailed contract terms at the earliest opportunity.
- At the start and at the renewal of every new customer relationship describe the service and value we provide and how we are compensated for it in plain and clear language as part of our Customer Terms and Conditions, agreement.
- Encourage, listen to and where appropriate act upon customers’ comments and suggestions for improvement in our service.
- Require that the training our people receive includes enhanced emphasis on their duty of care to customers.
- Not accept, individually or corporately, any inducements from insurers that could create a conflict of interest with our customers.
